Within 5 minutes drive from the house, you will arrive to the Hunter Valley Gardens, the Hunter Valley Golf Course, Red Salt restaurant, Lovedale Brewery at the Crowne Plaza, Hunter Valley Zoo, Potters Brewery and the renowned Binnorie Dairy where you can sample award winning cheeses. Located only minutes to the concert venues of Hope Estate, Bimbadgen and Roche Estate with transfer pick up just at the front door.

The winemaker's house accommodates 10 guests in 5 bedrooms with 2 modern bathrooms and features a large open plan living and dining area. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher will cater for long lunches at the winemaker table or leisurely dinners with family and friends. The kitchen opens out to a large covered and screened outdoor entertaining with bbq so you can enjoy the best of the outdoors both day and night insect free! The sparkling pool with sandstone surrounds is also fully enclosed by screens and is set on the edge of Capercaillie’s vineyard with view to the mountains beyond. Capercaillie House is a property to be enjoyed all year round with reverse-cycle air-conditioning and ceiling fans to living and sleeping areas.

For those who stay a little longer, the property is equipped with a full guest laundry.

With the Capercaillie Cellar Door only a short stroll from your accommodation, your first wine tasting experience at one of the best cellar doors in the Hunter awaits!

TARIFF
Weekend - minimum 2 nights, 8 guests from $1119 per night (Thu-Fri, Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun)
Midweek - minimum 2 nights, 8 guests from $839 per night (Monday-Thursday)
Additional adults $90 per person per night
Additional children 2-13 years $64 per person per night
Infants under 2 years free of charge

Please note that a $40 booking fee is applicable for all bookings made.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $800.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre-authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

NOTES

One night stays are available midweek. Weekend one night stays may be available but will attract a surcharge.
Sunday check in/ arrivals attract a weekend cleaning surcharge.
Weekend Public Holiday bookings must a minimum 3 night stay at full weekend rate.
Easter, Christmas and New Year are a 3-4 night stay and charged at full weekend rate.
Concert weekends and Special Events must be a minimum charge of 10 guests and a 10% surcharge may apply.

A $800 security deposit pre-authorisation is held against a credit card for the duration of your stay. The primary guest responsible for the booking must be over the age of 25 years and agree to adhere to these terms & conditions.
