Bracken Ridge Villas is a relaxing country estate set on a working vineyard in the heart of the Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia. The natural beauty of the Brokenback mountain range peeps over the vines. Relax on your private verandah or sit down by the dam and watch the abundant wildlife.
A destination for all seasons Bracken Ridge Villas are set on a 25 acre estate of expansive lawns and Semillon and Shiraz vineyards. Private gardens surround each two-story loft style villa. Each well appointed self-contained villa comes complete with a fully fitted kitchen and clean quality bed and bath linen are supplied for your vacationing comfort. There are intimate villas which also feature a romantic spa bath for two. Relax and enjoy the cozy log fire in winter and air conditioning in summer.
The Bonavista - This villa has a romantic loft bedroom upstairs with a Queen bed and a private twin bedroom on the ground floor. Complete with a spa bath for the weekend Getaway.
The Kingston - This villa has two private Queen bed bedrooms: one on the ground floor and one upstairs. There is an additional single bed upstairs and a sofa bed on the ground floor in this villa. This villa can sleep 5 on furnished beds and 6-7 with the sofa bed.
The Chetwynd - This villa with its spiral staircase to the Queen bed loft and vineyard views is the most romantic. It has a large spa bath for two and everything you need to enjoy a get away. It also has a private Queen bedroom on the main floor. This villa can sleep 4 people.
The Athabascan - The main floor Queen bed bedroom allows easy access for wheelchairs and limited mobility. There are two private bedrooms upstairs. Bedroom 2 has a Queen and single bed. Bedroom 3 has a Queen bed and single bed. This villa can sleep 8 on furnished beds.
The Stables - 1 Queen Bedroom on ground floor with easy access for limited mobility and wheelchairs. The upstairs loft has 3 single beds on the open landing, Bedroom 2 has a King sized bed which can be converted to 2 king singles, and Bedroom 3 is fitted with a Queen and an additional single bed. This villa can sleep 10 on furnished beds and 12 with trundles.
THE IMPORTANT STUFF - Bracken Ridge Vineyard - The Entire Estate The booking price is based on a minimum number of guests. Any guests above this number are chargeable on a per person/per night rate. The system will automatically calculate the correct rate when you enter in the required number of guests. Reductions in guest numbers are non-refundable.
This property is managed by Weekenda, a licensed real estate. Weekenda staff are available 7 days a week to assist from your initial enquiry through to your departure and everything in between.
Arrival Details: Access to the property is made easy for you. We will send you an access code just before 2pm on your arrival day via SMS and you will use this code for the duration of your stay.
Linen: 1 set of full bed linens and 1 bath towel per person are supplied. Guests may wish to bring extra towels depending on the length of their stay. Pool/Lake/Beach towels are BYO
Pools: If the property has a Swimming Pool then it will be open for swimming for the September NSW School Holidays and closed and Winterised immediately after the NSW Easter School Holidays has completed.
Fires and Firewood: Internal wood fireplaces and outdoor fire pits only operate after the NSW Easter School Holidays up to before the NSW September School Holidays in line with NSW state fire restrictions. Please note: we will supply enough fire-wood for a decent fire for 1 night of your stay. Guests wishing to have additional fires are required to BYO fire-wood which can be easily purchased from the local service stations. Kindling & fire-starters will be provided for guest convenience.
All reservations operate under a strict No-Party & excessive noise policy as this property is in a residential area. Failure to comply can put the security bond into jeopardy.
Prior to arrival, Weekenda will require you to sign an electronic guest registration prior to arrival which will ask for ID (drivers licence or passport), list your guests with contact phone or email for Government Covid reporting, and to re-accept the Weekenda T&C's. Access Codes are only released to registered guests.
As always, but ever so more due to recent times, we strongly encourage any holiday reservations to obtain a 3rd party Domestic Travel Insurance Policy to cover you for all manners of matters which may restrict travel. This is particularly helpful for things like Hunter Valley Concert cancellations or medical emergencies for which we don't provide refunds and which fall under our standard cancellation terms irrespective of the reason. We suggest reviewing policies with 'Cover-More', 'Travel Insurance Direct' & 'INSUREANDGO'.
Please also note that we may have installed a Wifi security camera at the front entrance of the property. We are progressively rolling these out through every property in 2022.
